New Year’s Day Parade

1st January
The West End
Kick-off the New Year at London’s New Year’s Day Parade. This free event features thousands of performers and colourful floats parading through the West End of London. Spectators can book tickets for a grandstand seat or watch from the roadside. The usual route covers Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and Parliament Street.

China Town & The West End

Join the biggest celebration of Chinese New Year outside Asia! London is home to a huge Chinese New Year parade where mouth-watering food and colourful parades go hand in hand. The main stage for 2020 will be at Trafalgar Square, where the parade ends. Head to Chinatown, Charing Cross Road and Shaftesbury Avenue, to catch a slice of the action en-route.
