Whether it is for a Christmas work party, a corporate event, or you are just looking for an excuse to get glammed up, you can’t beat December for fantastic events in London!

Christmas Markets

The best Christmas Markets in London have live shows and performances as well as space to skate on ice. The most popular places to go include: Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Christmas at Kew, and the Southbank Centre Winter Festival. Most kick-off late November so will be in full swing for Festive fun in December.

The O2 Arena

In December the O2 arena has a line-up like no other. Our top picks include Fast Love – A Tribute to George Michael on 06th December; An Evening with Michael Buble on 09th December; Hello Again, The Story of Neil Diamond on 13th December and finally, Disney on Ice from 26th December 2019. Make a night of it, stay at a hotel near The O2 Arena in London! The Westbridge Hotel is the perfect choice for a good night’s rest after a night out at the O2 in Greenwich. It takes just 15 minutes to get from our hotel to the arena, and we have a number of upcoming dates available at a reduced low-season rate. Call us to find out more.

Pantomimes and Theatre

For a truly festive experience, head to the Theatre Royal, Stratford East. During December a stellar cast will be performing Dick Whittington, a long-standing pantomime favourite. Stratford East is just 5 minutes from The Westbridge Hotel, perfect post-dinner entertainment. Alternatively catch one of the West End’s Box Office biggies such as The Lion King, Wicked, and Les Miserables.

New Years Eve Celebrations

The best views of the NYE fireworks along the banks of the Thames are reserved for ticket holders only! Last year tickets went on sale in September and were £10 each. However, if you fancy watching the display without being out in the cold, book a table at a high-rise restaurant with a view. Our top picks include: The Babylon, Kensington, The Blue Print Café, Coq d’Argent and OXO Tower Restaurant.
