There is so much to see and do for Mother’s Day in London. Why not create a spectacular day full of everything she might like in the buzz of Stratford, a paradise for shopping and leisure activities in East London!

Westfield Stratford City Shopping Experience

This is retail therapy on max power. There are over 300 stores spread over the equivalent size of 30 football pitches! No wonder it is regarded as the BEST shopping centre in the UK. You could spend the whole of Mother’s Day here trying out the latest fashions and consulting with personal stylists. It has a huge variety of restaurants, a cinema, and even a casino if your Mum likes that kind of thing!

ArcelorMittal Orbit Skyline Experience of London

Just a stone’s throw from Westfield Stratford City is the ArcelorMittal Orbit. This is the tallest sculpture in the UK, designed by the internationally renowned artist Anish Kapoor. One of the big attractions is that it has a viewings platform offering breath-taking panoramic views of London. However, if your mother likes something that will get the heart racing a bit harder – you can book tickets to come back down the fast way because this sculpture is also the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide!

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Activities and Eateries

There is so much more to this amazing open space than just the ArcelorMittal Orbit. The park is a whopping 111 acres, made up of meadows, wetlands and landscaped gardens, with the River Lea running through it. There are a number of indoor sports centres, including the aquatic centre and velodrome, or if you prefer the great outdoors you can go on a canal cruise or hire bikes to ride through the park. Throughout the park, you’ll find several cafes, bars and restaurants – the perfect way to spoil Mum on Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day Penthouse Experience

Why not give your Mum a full day of fun followed by a fabulously indulgent night with an overnight stay at The Westbridge Hotel. The Westbridge is located less than a mile from Westfield Stratford City and almost next to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. In the exclusively appointed Westbridge Suite, luxury comes as standard. It is a spacious and naturally well-lit penthouse offering stunning city views. The vast king-size double is topped with crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a sensuous Jacuzzi bath stocked with a range of beauty products, plush robe and slippers for a personal spa-experience, and you can choose to dine in private either on the balcony or in the suite’s very own dining area.
